Своё название мост получил благодаря соседству с Лондонским Тауэром. Туристы часто его путают с Лондонским мостом, стоящим выше по течению. В эксплуатацию Тауэрский мост был сделан в 1894 году. Мост считается одним из главных символов Лондона и Великобритании, стоящий на одном ряду со знаменитым Биг-Беном.

Лондонский глаз одно из крупнейших колёс обозрения в мире, расположенное в лондонском районе Ламбет на южном берегу Темзы. С высоты 135 метров (приблизительно 45 этажей) открывается вид практически на весь город. Колесо обозрения семейный проект супругов-архитекторов Дэвида Маркса и Джулии Барфилд. Воплощение проекта в жизнь заняло шесть лет.

Праздники Самым любимым днём у англичан является Рождество, Которое отмечают 25 декабря. Этот праздник самый важный и имеет массу своих традиций. К примеру, на ужин всегда принято ставить на стол рождественскую индейку и пудинг. А над проёмами дверей вешается специальный венок из омелы.
